WHY MEMBERSHIP?

At Camphor, membership is about connection, commitment, and community.

When you become a member, you are saying yes to growing in faith alongside others, participating in the life of the church, and joining in God’s work of healing, hope, and transformation in the world.

Membership means walking together through life’s joys and challenges while being part of a spiritual family that worships, serves, learns, and grows together.

    Grow in faith through weekly worship, prayer, and spiritual reflection.

    Participate in Bible study, discipleship, and opportunities for lifelong learning.

We know faith journeys look different for everyone.

You do not need to know everything, believe everything perfectly, or have life completely together to belong here. Wherever you are on your journey, there is space for you at Camphor.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to be a member to attend?
Not at all. You are welcome to worship, participate, and connect whether or not you are a member.

Do I need to have everything figured out spiritually?
No. Membership is about growing in faith together, not having all the answers.

How long does the membership process take?
It varies. We want the process to feel meaningful, relational, and guided—not rushed.

Can I transfer membership from another church?
Yes. We welcome both new members and those transferring membership from another congregation.
