Coordinator of Ministry Operations

The Coordinator of Ministry Operations will provide high-level administrative office support to the ministries of Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church. This position reports to the Pastor and works collaboratively with the Camphor UMC staff.

Responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:

1. Preparation and archiving of worship service bulletins, worship presentation slides, and other church-related materials. Providing office support in collaboration and coordination with the Pastor and Camphor UMC staff.

2. Facilitate the collection and preparation of Annual Church or Charge Conference reports and documentation (in collaboration with Pastoral and Lay leadership) as prescribed and outlined by the Minnesota/Dakota Annual Conference Office.

3. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.

4. Track and record weekly attendance and other ministry metrics, and enter attendance and statistical data into the People’s Portal.

5. Manage key distribution, security codes, and key fob access for authorized individuals.

6. Maintain church email accounts and assist staff with email setup and access.

7. Minister the church’s Zoom account, including scheduling and link creation

8. Handle general office administration tasks, provide support across ministries, and perform other related duties as assigned by the Pastor

Job Qualifications:

Must be knowledgeable and have experience and skill in using different technology platforms such as Canva, Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and Worship Tools Presenter. The position will require occasional moving and carrying of office furniture and equipment, sitting, and moderate stretching and bending.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Time Commitment 6 Hours per week (Tue/Thu) with occasional weekend flexibility

Audio Visual Technician Lead

The audio-video (AV) technician, lead person is responsible for operating several types of equipment needed to run church services which includes live streaming. Equipment includes video, audio, and lighting for each event. The audio-video technician uses their mastery of these tools to enhance the quality of church services and live streaming. They also recruit, train, and work with volunteer video and audio booth operators. The position reports to the Pastor.

Overview of Responsibilities:

The Audio-Video Technician has many varied responsibilities. It is their job to assemble microphones; operate soundboards to create an optimal mix; manage lighting, video recordings and graphics; and provide technical support where it is needed, among other tasks, to enhance the quality of live and streaming broadcast.

Audio-Video Technician Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

Is responsible for organizing, installing, and operating a variety of types of equipment, including: projectors, microphones, soundboards, livestream and video monitors, among others.
For Sunday worship services, set up and operate audiovisual equipment, including microphones, projectors, soundboards, and video monitors, or supervises and supports AV volunteer staff with these tasks.
Work directly with the Pastor, Worship team, and others in order to implement their specifications.
Conduct quality control analysis during services and make adjustments as needed.
Provide technical assistance when needed.
Alter the arrangement of venues to fit the needs of participants.
Be available for, or secure technicians for funerals, special services, and events.

Audio Video Technician Requirements:

High School Diploma or Technical Certificate.
Training in audio-video support or previous experience is required.
Experience with soundboards, microphones, video tools, and related equipment.
Advanced knowledge of modern sound mixing techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team of volunteers.

Pay: $200 per Sunday Hours: 8:45am -11:45am

Pay: $67 per hour Hours: as needed
